Hind Al-Azawi, MS, MD, FACOG
At a very young age, Dr. Al-Azawi started her educational journey always determined to achieve the highest level of education. Dr. Al-Azawi finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Master Degree in Cell Biology from Oakland University in Michigan graduating with Cum Laude honors. After graduate school, Dr. Al-Azawi devoted a full year as medical researcher resulting in multiple publications and presenting at nationally recognized conferences.
Dr. Al-Azawi earned her Medical Degree at the Ross University School of Medicine prior to completing her four-year OB/GYN residency at Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. In 2021, She moved to Southern California where she became a medical fellow at the University of California, Irvine. Right after completing her medical fellowship, Dr. Al-Azawi joined the staff at the University of California, Riverside as an associate professor working closely with medical students and residents.
After years working in Hospitals, Universities, and private practices, Dr. Al-Azawi decided to open her private practice, COAST OB-GYN. As a passionate advocate of women’s health, Dr. Al-Azawi wanted to create a women’s health clinic that offers best in class service. She aims to apply her unique blend of educational and practical experience within her own private practice.
Dr. Al-Azawi is board-certified and a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). She stays abreast of the latest obstetrics and gynecology research/certifications to ensure that her patients receive the highest quality care possible.
When not caring for her patients, Dr. Al-Azawi enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, and most of all, being a mother to her 4-year-old baby girl.
Dr. Al-Azawi completed her residency in Michigan prior to moving to California to complete her fellowship program.
Throughout her years in training, Dr. Al-Azawi received multiple awards for her medical knowledge and surgical skills. She was involved in the teaching of medical students and residence and conducted multiple research studies focused on improving patient quality of care in Labor and Delivery.
When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Al-Azawi enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, and most of all being a mother for her 2 years old baby girl.
Dr. Al-Azawi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Master’s degree in Cell Biology from Oakland University in Michigan. After completing medical rotations in Florida and Michigan, she attended the SoCal ObGyn residency program at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn Michigan. Dr. Al-Azawi moved to California to do her fellowship in SoCal ObGyn Hospitalist at the University of California Irvine.
